************************ Spring Samboree 2010 in the History Books *******************
The 2010 Spring Samboree was a another Success. There was 199 rigs present.
There were 13 States represented besides the 6 States in Area 4. Kansas, Texas,
Oklahoma, Missouri and Louisiana. 27 of the 33 Arkansas Chapters were represented.

There was dozens of games played (Sandbag Baseball, Horseshoes, Washers, Turtles,
Egg Toss, Golf to mention a some) with 1st, 2nd & 3rd place badges for singles and doubles
awarded. The entertainment was very good every night. Hundreds of prizes were given
to lucky folks over the 4 days. If you missed this one, DON'T miss the
Fall Samboree in Ft Smith, Arkansas October 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 2010.

For those 199 that were there, we some really GREAT weather.

AREA 2 2010 FRIENDSHIP CAMPOUT

The date and place have been changed due to the lack of space in meeting room
our Area 2 is growing. In order to get this RV park, the only available date was in August
(one month earlier). We’re looking forward to a great year of traveling and gatherings,
meeting old members, and greeting new members.

Area 3 Friendship Campout 2010
Welcome!!!
The Area 3 Friendship is OVER and was a BIG Success...... It was March 24 thru March 26
at Craighead County Fairgrounds, 2731 Highland Drive, Jonesboro, AR.
Early arrivals had a great time.....
Activities included: lots of games, bingo, and Chinese auction.
Betty's famous bean supper (Potluck), hamburger cookout and pancake breakfast was vey good.

MARCH 4 - 7, 2010 The Area 4 Friendship is OVER and has been declared a BIG Success......
It took place at PECAN GROVE RV PARK, LAKE VILLAGE, AR

The Thursday & Friday games were enjoyed by all...
Thursday Soup supper by Lawrence and JD Henley and the Friday Potluck & Bingo was great..
The Thursday Evening entertainment: "Over the Hill Gang" was very good..
Saturday: Sausage/Pancake breakfast; Chinese Auction was also good.
Sunday: Coffee and Donuts; Departing devotional was also Nice.

Area 5 Friendship Campout 2010
The 2010 Area 5 Friendship Time and Place to be announced later, Keep checking.

Area 6 Friendship Campout 2010
AREA 6 2010 FRIENDSHIP CAMPOUT FAIR PARK RV PARK HOPE, ARKANSAS
MAY 4-5-6 (check out the 7th) early check in May 3rd (Monday).

This will be Pamela & Benny Harrell's first official Friendship as Asst. State Directors.
Plan on coming down to Hope and help them get started.
Planned activities are Bean Bag Baseball; Bingo; card games; Chinese Auction;
maybe a scavenger hunt; and lots of fellowship with old friends.

Tuesday morning - Coffee and sweet rolls/donuts
Tuesday night - Brown Bag Supper with something to share with others.
Wednesday Breakfast - furnished and served by Cossatot Good Sams
Wednesday night- Pinto Beans & Corn bread supper furnished by several chapters with potluck desserts
Thursday morning - Coffee & sweet rolls... some chapters may want to furnished breakfast to some hungry campers!
Thursday night - Potluck - Pamela & Benny will supply the meat entree - potluck side dishes
Friday morning - Coffee & sweet rolls/donuts and good byes

$15.00 per night electricity and water with dump station on grounds

REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR CHINESE AUTION ITEMS! IT'S ALWAYS FUN TO SEE WHAT OTHERS BRING.
